Love that tin! I use old cheese spread boxes to make my mini-books. I made a "When You Were Born" one for my little baby gt. niece. Covered it with pink gingham and lace, with little acetate hearts (Heidi Swapp) painted with red-&-white paint, mixed up to make streaky pink shades. Also acetate letters to spell the baby's name - I painted those too, some on the front and some on the back, so they had different textures. I made the pages from card discs, glued back-to-back over a strip of ribbon, so the whole thing joined up like a book. You could untie the right side only, so you could read the "book" or unti both sides, to open it out in a long line. It was fab!

We love the LolCat today. He made us laugh.

Hi Karen

I still have my tin from you and treasure it along with so many other things you have made for me in the past, they are all a reminder of your continued friendship and I love every one of them.

Thanks Karen

You have the neatest ideas! I love looking at your pages - especially the kitty ones!

BTW, I've nominated you for a Versatile Blogger award over on my blog. :-)

Love your posts!

This reminds me of the wedding favours that we used at our wedding not so long back. We saw them online one day (similar to this with a floral design) and thought the flowers brought the favour to life. It was the highlight of the wedding. Along with the flowers themselves of course.
