I love lazy Saturdays and I am planning on having one from here on in.
Had to work hard this morning but have just been rewarded with a trip to get a frappaccino as a reward. Roof off driving along in the sunshine - fabulous. However, I came home, went and sat int he garden and am now back inside. it is soooooo cold out there when the sun goes behind clouds. Way too cold for me .... I am a light-weight.
So I groomed my little boy instead. He loves being groomed. He knows when I kneel down by the bath that it is 'our time' and he jumps right in. i always groom him int he bath as he makes such a mess and then I can wash him down at the end to get rid of any lingering hair and then he gets a lovely blow dry in the bedroom. I tell you, he is one weird weird cat!
Just the claw clipping to go now. They are very good about it as we clip them once a fortnight.
I was asked to post my finished page from my 5210 for last week. I had quite forgotten about it.
I love my home town and found it quite hard to find 10 favourite places.
But in the end I went for .... in no particular order of specialness (from the top and going left then right)
- The beach
- The harbour
- The heath
- TGI Friday (yummy - I ate there last night!)
- Poole Park
- Home (Blanked out for posting on here)
- Poole town shops
- The Quay
- The Holes Bay ( a pub we like to eat at)
- Sandbanks
The strip that has the top ten part on is all stitched down and made into individual pockets and the strips slide from left to right and reveal journalling about each place.
It is clearer in the picture above what I mean.
and the picture above here shows the stitching and ribbon detail a little better.
It was a fun page to make.
I have also made a special project which i will share tomorrow. You will see why.
My quote for today is
Wise words again.
Today isn't over but so far I am thankful for
- A lovely garden my husband has worked so hard on
- Frapaccinos and TGI (I am obsessed with food obviously)
- Light at the end of the timetable tunnel
And finally, Saturday LOL cats
I love your LO for the 52in10, it is lovely and has given me some inspiration to do mine (still keeping up!!). The ribboning is great, not one of my strong points x
