Those of you who are regular followers of this blog will know how hard a week I have had.
I prayed for guidance all week and boy were those prayers answered.
I had to do something which was one of the most difficult things I have ever had to do in my life and I prayed for the strength to see it through and the wisdom and guidance to say and do the right things. My prayers were answered.
So my show and tell is connected today. If you want to find out more about show and tell see Kelli's House.
She has a wonderful blog and hosts this weekly event.
I apologise for the lousy photo. The flash was reflecting everywhere.
The picture is of a cross I bought when I was 14. We went on a school trip to Hillfield friary in Hampshire. It was a great day and I was so impressed with the friary. I loved the simplicity of the chapel and when I saw the cross, I just had to buy it.
It was in my room at home from that point on and up in our home when we were married. Now it sits in the best place possible, absolutely int e centre of our home as it should be.
Now, as life has been a bit difficult I haven't been able to be as creative as I usually am.
I usually have new work to share every day and I intend to scrap my heart out this weekend.
However, I ain't done it yet LOL
I will end today with heartfelt thanks for all the support I have received of late and with my picture of the day.
First thing I did when I got home was get a bottle of champagne out and put it in the fridge.
Tonight I am celebrating that one of the worst weeks ever is finally over.
I may - and it is just a may - let Nigel share a tiny bit of this bottle.
Here is to a great weekend for everyone xxx
I am so pleased that your prayers have been answered enjoy your champagne you deserve it.
