It was very interesting to read about your ancestors and to see their photographs. You do look like your dad!

Newlyweds

What a very neat story of your family. I love love love old family pictures and to know all the stories behind them is just amazing. Great job!

Barb

goodness - your photos are in terrific shape.

I was swept into your journalling, you write very well. What a history. And I love how you've preserved it. As a digi-scrapper and designer your cd case is MARVELOUS.

thanks for sharing today

I just stopped in after reading your comment about my zoo.
We DO have Veteran's Day in the states. Some of us remember other days, even though they aren't officially celebrated.
I loved all your old family pictures; aren't they wonderful to have?
Thanks for stopping by. I'm glad you enjoyed Thing 1 and Thing 2. It'll probably be boring when they get older! They were both abandoned. Around here, that means the coyotes often get them. I couldn't bear that, so now I have a houseful of cats!

What wonderful photos Karen. And the cd holder you made is so nice. We have Veterens Day here in the US, and some places have more activites than others. We also recognize the day at our church too.
