Now that is what I call speed scrapping! I needed to make a birthday gift for Nigel and I needed to make it yesterday as it is the only chance I had. OK so I could have done some today but I have never been a totally last minute sort of girl and that really would have been pushing it.
I started at midday yesterday and apart from lunch, dinner and watching Strictly and Casualty I worked pretty much solidly on it ..... and I finished it. I want to thank Marja too, as if she had not completed her album I would never have been motivated to get my act together and do this one.
I had been THINKING about it for weeks, but thinking and doing are quite different things aren't they!
It is a 6 x 6 A - Z album of Canada and it was quicker to do as I kept the pages the same range of colours, using only 5 different cardstocks, a few patterned papers and lots of stamps.
I had already cut the circle letters (did that three weeks ago when I should have made the album!)
It is really really simple, but I am dead chuffed that I completed 27 pages in under 12 hours.
I won't be doing it again in a long while, but I have a great feeling of satisfaction.
I have posted a couple of pages in this entry but have put the whole album in a photo album down the side.
I would love it if anyone went and looked and told me what they thought. Only I can't give it to Nigel for another week and it is killing me not showing anyone LOL All the work and I do want someone to see it!
Now, I have a whole host of other scrapping commitments I need to do - if only I could do them all that quickly eh! Ah well. At least it is Sunday
Have a fabby day, everyone. x
LOVE it Karen and Nigel is going to be so pleased when he sees it next week! Isn't it amazing how fast a 6x6 album goes together? Mine took me 24 hours though so you are super speedy :)

Karen, I am so sorry to hear that Kira isn't well. I had the sores on face problem with Willow recently but with the help of a long acting antibiotic injection and a buster collar his face has healed and he seems ok but I know how much you love your furbabies and how worrying it is to see one not themselves. I do hope she gets better soon. It is Russ's birthday the same day as Nigel's and I haven't done anything yet either!! Kim xx

I love everything about this album. The photos are of course magnificent, but your choice of colours and papers has really enhanced them. I'm so envious of anyone who can scrap so well, so quickly. It would take me at least a month to come up with the alphabetical definitions, let alone collect together the embellishments (or find the ones buried deep in my stash!) Congratulations - it's a great album!

What a stunning album. The papers go so well with the photos. You have inspired me to start scrapping some of the photos we have taken on our visits to the Rockies.
You've reminded me of some very special times. Love it!
