I had such fun doing Shimelle's special free class yesterday. She has such fab ideas and, as she promised, it really was simple to create. I stuck pretty much to her original idea as I liked what she had done and it was such a different style for me.
The picture on the front cover was one I took myself Saturday night and it really is blurred LOL
Not sure the flowers worked - they looks like overly elaborate earrings - but it is growing on me (and yes - looks like it is growing on me literally!)
So here are my confessions
I am hooked on Starbucks Frappaccino. I am not a big coffee lover but am addicted to these. Thankfully for my diet the nearest Starbucks is a good 10 - 12 mile plus round trip so we don't have them very often. Mind you, we have almost perfected making our own at home with such sinful ingredients. I am proud to say we have not had one since the beginning of December. How restrained is that!
I Love Disney and all things connected with it. We love to visit the theme parks and I become a big kid as soon as I hit them. The characters appear and I am there, rushing over to take pictures with the best of them. And the Disney corporate image - well I love him too.
Well he was bound to feature somewhere, but this time as one of my confessions. I am not prone to swearing a lot, but my personal little monster brings out the devil in me too and I do swear at him. He totally deserves it because he is so utterly wicked and then, just when you think you can't take any more and have added a fair few new words to your bad vocabulary he melts you with those wicked green eyes.
I am a diet coke addict - I really am. Not big into hot drinks, I can't function without my coke - though I have switched in recent years to caffeine free. Has to be out of the tin, has to be ice cold and I can never ever drink a whole tin. As I hate them when they are flat my scrap space is littered with half empty tins at the end of the day. Drives Nij MAD!
I am sure that sometimes I buy stash as ornaments for my scrap room rather than anything i will ever use. I will never in a million years use all the blossoms I have, but they look so pretty I cannot resist them. I actually felt guilty when I took this picture so dared to use a few in this mini book.
It was a lovely idea for a book. Thank you Shimelle. I am just glad you suggested limiting it to 5 pages as it could have been worrying how many confessions I could have come up with.
The stamps I used are, of course, Banana Frog, and the journalling blocks were printed from a kit by Kim Hill called A Passing Fancy
Fabulous!!! Mine is going on the blog tomorrow as I had the Aezine essentials to put up today. This really was a fab quick mini to make. I did mine 4 x 6.
I did 6 confessions. I love yours. Mine are quite bizzare & I had forgotten I did these things!!!!!
