OK so I am a tad early but the house smells festive today.
We do like a nice steeped cake and we usually make it at half term but the Christmas cake is baked - oooh think how many times I can spike it with brandy. Yum. It tastes delicious too as we baked a small one - as always. Well you have to make sure it is OK don't you.
Our cinema offering this week was The Snowman and I have mixed views about it. It was OK but certainly not a standout. I am not a fan of the Scandinavian genre really but it was an enjoyable way to spend a couple of hours.
I have some more scrapping from Scrap Whispers to share. These are the other two pages I made for the challenge.
The one above was Kingston lacy in all of its summer glory looking wonderful. It's a very unudual page for me as it uses three different patterned papers
The one below is Nigel who finally managed to reclaim the new chair from Fiki. He was determined to enjoy it alone for a while
Today I am thankful for
- a very productive day ... house cleaned, washing done, cake baked
- Christmassy things
- the smell of the season
and today's offering from the internet - interactions with statues
