It was so appropriate when I saw the new collection from dawn which is called the journey as I was just about ready to start scrapping our summer road trip.
The collection is available now in Scrapbookgraphics and is on offer. It is smashing for all holidays.
I love the black and white with the bright colour pops. Too cute.
I loved this picture of Nigel's car on the causeway at Lindisfarne - and I am in process of doing a paper page version too.
Once again we were the Chrysler Chiefs on vacation!
Today has been a busy day of work again, but I am hoping to scrap a little later - real proper paper scrapping as I think my mojo may have paid a brief, but welcome, visit.
Last night was one of the candlelit nights down in Bournemouth so we took Nigel's mom down there. Nigel and I both had fond memories of going to these as children. The gardens in town have lots of displays filled with little jars with candles that the kids all get to light. We both recall how our Dads always used to find candles that were unlit. We didn't realise they were busy blowing lights out so we could light them!
I am sure it wasn't as busy when we were children. It was heaving last night.
The beds of flowers were lovely though
and I would love to know what some of the bedding plants were. They were gorgeous pink and red leaves, some veriegated. Can anyone identify them.
We went on the pier
I tried to capture the lovely colours as the sun was setting but it didn't really work
and the illuminations
Today I am thankful for
- a productive day and catching up with friends
