It has been an utterly beautiful day today - really beautiful - and I have actually been out in some of the nice weather.
Often I never see the outside world between 7 am and 5 pm but today I had a course which meant a beautiful early morning drive across the stunning Dorset countryside.
I love living in a county that doesn't do motorways and - much of the time - doesn't even do dual carriageways.
And the roads I was on were stunning. The early rape seed is just coming out and the fields are turning yellow and as I was very high up the views across the county were stunning.
It was a very pleasant hour there and back - time to think, to plan, to enjoy and ont he way back time to try and digest the information from the course.
Not all courses are useful .... this one was.
There was even a giraffe along the way ....
OK so it was a wooden sculpture, but still beautiful.
And the course took place in a beautiful building in a very splendid great hall.
So all in all a very productive day. Good weather, good company, excellent INSET, useful information and back safely in time to catch up on other work.
I have a new page to share today which is very simple - s simple in fact I have two of them!
I almost never ever do double pages.
But I did for this.
It is for our 2013 album and records our trip to Bekonscot.
The scan is wonky - they are straight in reality.
