OK so it s no secret I love snow. I really do. But I have to confess I am not so keen on this sort of snow. It has snowed on and off most of the day, but the teeniest tiniest flakes of ice not snow really that have fluttered around in the ever increasing wind that is getting close to gales force at times.
There was a really light dusting on the grass and trees, none ont he roads and it was just bitterly bitterly cold and being out in it was no fun.
So when I say I love snow ... I am actually quite choosy about the snow I love.
I know some parts of the country have had a lot of snow again but today it's just been miserable.
Today I have another page from the Eden Project to share.
We were both struck by this beautiful sculpture of a horse as soon as we arrived. We both enjoy sculpture, though I think we are quite chosey about what we do and don't like. And this we liked.
There were also pigs by the same lady and they all just needed to be recorded.
I wanted the page to be 'natural' in keeping with the sculpture and so I used lots of naturally distressed edges and also a wood veneer tag I had had for ages and a slide mount covered in rafia.
Today I am thankful for
- being inside and warm - it was bitter outside
- Nigel buying me Breaking Dawn Part 2 which came out today
and I LOVED this LOL cat

love that page, love the natural look of the things you have used.
the Lolcat made me smile too

I have a bug-- Hahahahahaha! Tooo cute!
Love the rafia around the slide mount. I must keep that trick up my sleeve :-) Super font for the title. Is that cut from a Cricut? Silhouette?

Oh, I forgot to mention that we got 7.5" (19.05 cm?) of snow last night. It was pretty wet and heavy, so perfect for snow people building ;-) But the wind (not gale-force) was blowing, so no fun being out in it. We had a very dry beginning to winter, so I think it's making one last good stand before it has to give in to Spring ;-)
