Unexpected

Several things have been unexpected today.

There was an unexpected deluge of snow for half an hour at lunchtime. It was falling thick and fast and looked beautiful but sadly it was short lived.

There was an unexpected nose bleed .... or two.

And it is totally unexpected that having gotten better over the weekend the sore throat and headache and aches are back big time. Totally unexpected.

Ah well - some you win and some you lose.

I have a Kira page to share today which was made for a UKS challenge and documents how poorly our little girl was.

 

 

We went through months of worry about what was causing the raw weeping sores all across her head. They were no where else but her head was raw.

In the end she went for lots of tests and a biopsy and came home in a sorry state with a collar and staples in her head. Thankfully we found out it was allergies and by monitoring her carefully she has been clear for over 4 years now.

The interesting thing was that the collar was the turning point and she became a different cat - far more affectionate ... a real lap cat whereas she had been a little stand-offiish at times.

 

 

 

Today I am thankful that

• it is time to go to bed and rest - I have done all I need to do

Oh that poor baby! So glad she was healed and is now living a cuddly life. Now it's time for you to get healed! I'll be praying you to start feeling tons better really soon.
