The sun has shone throughout today but having been for a walk I can confirm it is dceptively cold out.
It is lovely in the sun, but there was quite a wind down by that quay at Christchurch and it was icy cold.
The walk back was lovely as it was shaded fromt he wind and in the sunshine. The walk out was, to say the least, bracing.
There were people feeding the swans which meant the gull were very active trying to snatch the food on the wing and as it was so windy they seemed to just hang in the air so it seemed a good chance to try and get some snaps of them in flight.
and I think this was the one I liked best ... just a shame about the bin!
I also scrapped the weekly challenge on UKS this afternoon - because I could.
looks crooked as hell but I promise it isn't in reality. It has all been measured. Oh yes ... I am THAT anal. Believe me.
It is just once it is scanned it 'bends' the image.
The lovely bakers twine was part of my prize from Tink and I couldn't wait to use it.
Today I am thankful for
- not being 'too bad' today since having had about an hours sleep last night which was all I managed between the constant (and I really do mean constant) coughing.
- scrapping time
- new goodies to play with
Oh and I can't resist posting this as it is a cool new free ap I put on the phone.
Nice way to remember the locationa nd weather LOL

Like the app. What a lovely fresh layout - perfect! Thanks for visiting me! We have a lovely time at the crop. I have made so many changes to my life recently for various reasons that are not for the public domain in a comment. I know I have said it before but I do find your blog uplifting and you do make a difference every time I pop by. Have a nice break - we went to the seaside today, had a picnic, drank form a flask and ate ice-cream which was warmer than our fingers. Fresh air = good for the soul. jenx

That is a cool app! :-) Love the snowdrop layout -- great way to use the twine. I'll have to lift that idea :-)
Hope your cough will subside soon-- no fun not getting sleep because of it. :'(
