A bit of an addiction

Finding the jugsaw we had never done was perhpas NOT such a good thing as we have accomplished little today but have spent a long time standing at the dining room table doing a piece here and there.

It is a HARD jigsaw. Deceptive;ly hard. But we are hooked. Both of us.

We also started the day late as we went out with friends last night and had a much later night than we are used to. It was a super evening with great food and excellent company but we are light-weights these days and slept late to compensate. But then I guess that is what holidays are for,.

 

I did find time during the day to do some scrapping a this page is for a challenge blog called white plus 1. The idea to use white plus one colour. This month the challenge was to use pink and hearts and so I made this page for the paper Paris album.

 

 

I distressed and inked the edges of the white card before stitching it on to the pink. I also used some text stamps on the background and found it really hard to stamp imperfectly. I wanted bits to be missing but it didn't come naturally.

 

 

I added a pink bird with a little crystal eye that I die cut from two shaded and a few hearts and flowers.

 

 

 

 

It was a fun challenge and made me want to crack on with the Paris album.

 

Today I am thankful for

• absorbing hobbies
• enjoying very simple things together ... but if he does any of 'my' bit again I will scream LOL
