I have had the sort of day where I have been ploghing my way through a lot of documents. They were very big docuemnts with very small text and they have now changed colour!
Let me explain!
I have to read detailed stuff with my trusty highlighter in my hand so I can highlight anything I need to change, add, action, adhere to, find out about etc. It's a good system that works well. Or it usually works well.
As I look back at the documents from today they simply appear to have changed colour from black and white to luminous yellow. It would appear there are a LOT of things to action!
I have a page to share today that I made a long time ago and it is another for the Florida album
I really like the parade at Animal Kingdom and one of the things I love is the song and so I have used the words from the song on the page.
I don't think I have ever done a page with quite so much paper distressing and punching and stitching - but it was fun.
I was trying to create a sort of rustic feel and I don't think it quite came off
The large bird was one of my favourite floats from the parade. We only just managed to see the parade before the heavens opened and a true monsoon started. We were at the start of the parade so the people at the end possibly didn't get to see it.
Today I am thankful for
- a successful day
- the last of the late nights this week
- warm gloves ... it's been awfully cold.

Oh, what a great layout! I so like the way you changed the stitching around the tan background cardstock. :-) I feel quite inspired by this layout. I need to try more stitching on mine once in a while.

Fab page Karen - love the variation in stitching you've used and what perfect papers. Great LOLcat too!
