Oh my have I been looking forward to sharing these things.
Pickleberrypop have another Pickle Barrel collection go live today and Oh My. They are stunning ceations. Just look at the colour palette below.
There are so many fabulous things and all themed so they will work topgether. It's a great way to build your own collection.
They are all on sale for just $1 but only for the next couple of days so snap them up whilst you can.
and there is even another bonus
I have been lucky enough to play with so many of the items and I have two pages to share today - and will share another couple tomorrow.
This page was made with the designs called Feelin' Frosty by Fayette. I love her work and I am a big fan of her huge word art frames too.
The photo is of my brother-in-law and sister-in-law when we were over visiting them one Easter and were caught int he most amazing blizzard where more than 2 foot of snow fell in less than 24 hours.
I had to do some really nifty photo changing though as the colours of their clothes simply didn't work witht he gorgeous pinks and blues. They were wearing bright orange and red - but a little photo manipulation and voila.
This second page was made with a collection for the Pickle Barrel by Lindsay Jane and is just gorgeous.
It was perfect for this photo of Emily.
I just love th colours and hope you get to snap up some of the bargains too.
It's been alovely first day of the holidays here. e had a little wander round town, delivered christmas gifts to the hairdresser, dentist and vets and I bought a huge wooden platter from a charity shop which was jut what have been looking for as a base for a decoration I want to make.
I have also made my JYC page which records how special two nutcracker men are. They were sent as a gift from Mike in Florida and were something we always really wanted and had never bought. It was doubly nice to not only have them but to have them as a gift froma friend. When we put them out this year they meant even more as we have now met Mike in person rather than just electronically! Mike, I am not sure if yiu will see this post but we love them so much x.
and it is also my photo of the day
Today I am thankful for
- charity finds
- lazy days
- gifts from friends
and finally my page a day calendar page
A near-freezing rain chilled my bones as I pulled up in front of the art center where my company’s yearly holiday party was being held. The man who came to park my car was at least my father’s age. He
must be miserable working in rain like this, I thought. I wondered if I could do anything to help … but what? I gave him my keys, pulled my coat collar up, and ran toward the building.
Inside, the room glowed with lights, music, the smell of good food and friendly faces wherever I looked. I talked to a few colleagues and scanned the room to find my boss. I wanted to let Rob know that I’d just landed a big account, one that he had referred to me.
Finally, I saw him across the room, waiting in front of a chef carving a great slab of roast beef. I made my way through the crowd, but when I reached the serving table, Rob had disappeared.
“Hey,” I said to the man with the carving knife, “can you tell me where that gentleman went?”
“Probably to the parking lot. He’s made at least four trips back and forth with food and hot punch for the guys parking cars tonight.”
“Thanks,” I said, grateful for the reminder of what real leadership was. “Maybe you could fill a plate or two for me to take outside, too.”

HE HE - yes, I saw the nutcrackers Karen! I forgot how colourful they were. Thanks for showing them off. I am glad you and Nigel like them. I also just viewed the inside of your Advent calendar cottage. It looks warm and inviting. I hope you both have a Blessed Christmas and SUper-Duper Happy New Year!!
Hugs, Mike
