For all of you scrappers around the world, there is something fun going on this weekend.
A scrapping extravaganza just staring over to Shimelle's place. There will be some great classes, some fun challenges and some awesome give aways, so pop over and have a check.
The first thing posted is the weekly sketch and I have already had a play of that for the California album.
I would never ordinarily thought to put a strong colour like the red witht he page, but it echoed our red car that we had which is int he picture.
The Tioga Road is closed for 7 months of the year as it is so high and impassable a lot of the year. In August it was a great road to drive and we got to go through the Tioga Pass, the highest pass in the Sierra Nevada.
I will be back with more of the work from the crop later.
Dawn has a new collection out at her scrapbookgraphics store and it is, as ever, loaded and perfect for all of us who love taking photos too.

I loved using it and especially liked this page. I couldn't resist the picture of nigel snapping me but I was snapping him (different time of course) Just tickled my sense of humour.
Today I am thankful for
- a day of scrapping and card making - I have made A LOT today, even by my standards LOL

Oh I love your take on the sketch. It's great to see the photo really taking pride of place

You need that red to add a bit of zing. I love the colour part of Explore.
Personally I've been struggling with this sketch - it's finished and not finished - I posted it on the Explore board for prompt 18 to get some advice.
