OK
Let's start with the free class and get that out of the way first.
I made this for ATDML last month and whilst there are loads and loads of instructions around I thought I would add mine.
It really is so simple it is almost not worth having the instructions but if you want them, they are HERE
Now - the exciting news ...
are you ready for this .......
It is almost here.
I mentioned a while ago that I would be starting a year long project on here. It starts in just two weeks.
The posts will be every Sunday and the 52 in 10 project is just that ...... 52 projects in 2010
There will be prompts and class pages, templates and sketches and even the odd freebie thrown in.
2010 is an important year for me and I am looking at it with more optimism now as I have a focus for it. I am going to celebrate the year and celebrate being me ... who cares if I will turn 50. It's just a number.
I hope lots of you will want to join with me. I hope some may travel all 52 weeks with me, but you can dip in and out as you wish. You can aim for all 52 prompts and projects or just do a couple. I am doing 52 .... I would love to have you along for the journey. But they will be about celebrating you, your life, your dreams, your hits and misses, your family, your friends, your world in 2010. I hope it will mean that, at the end of it, you have something memorable to keep about 2010.
So what do you need to do now if you are interested?
You need to keep watching this blog as there will be more details to come before the first prompt on 3rd January 2010
You can tell scrapping friends around the world about it on your blogs and forums and get them to check it out too .... as the more that play along the more fun it will be.
You can enjoy the fact it is free ..... no charge .... no commitment ..... no deadlines ..... just a whole lot of fun to play along with if you fancy it.
Finally here is my JYC page for today.
The topic was unexpected ... I think it was meant to be receiving something unexpected. well we nearly did receive soemthing unexpected today ... a plaster cast or two!
We have been very good and going for a daily walk. It was a beautiful sunny morning and we wrapped up warm .... but the sheet ice covering our drive was totally unexpected .... and invisible. thankfully we managed to stay upright.
The heath was beautiful in the frost though.
Do let me know what you think about 52 in 10.
As you can tell I am very excited about it and hope you are too.

sounds interesting. I'll have to see though. as much
as much as I want to get really creative and do more
crafting in 2010, I realized that I have a huge commitment
to my baby...

It sounds great! I will keep watching this space for sure! Thank you for setting this up for us - especially as it's for free.
You may be 50 next year, but, from the photo above, you really don't look it yet... must be all this lovely crafting and scrapping that keeps you young!
By the way, the bunting project is lovely. I really like the way the flags are attached to the ribbon - very unusual. I think I will have a go at this one. Thanks!

Hi Dolly! I am soo excited about 52 in 10 and would like to say a big thankyou for bringing it to us - and for free! You are a very generous lady! I am really looking forward to taking part - next year I hit the big 40 and one of my new year resolutions is to stop running myself ragged trying to please everyone else and just remember that I deserve some time and attention too! So this is perfect and will be 'me' focus throughout the year. I can't wait - bring it on!!!
Jackie xx
P.S You look absolutely FAB! Well done!

I Love the sound of this - looking forward to taking part though I can't promise to do 52 in 10!
Posted by: Liz | December 20, 2009 at 10:53 PM
Hi Dolly, I'm coming on board for the challenge, I have a special year next year too but I will be 20 year older than you. Hope to be able to do the whole year climaxing in a family holiday in Edinburgh my favourite city. Well that is my dream anyway. but how knows what the year may bring.
Posted by: Mary Bainbridge | December 20, 2009 at 10:56 PM
Hi Dolly, that is a brilliant idea. I'm looking forward to it as hopefully I will have a fully functioning office/craft room by the end of the year. So far it is at the funny-smelling stage with no light - it is dangling from the ceiling and not connected up! Not specifically a special year for me next year but we will be going on a cruise plus we are hoping to have kittens. This Christmas will be the first Christmas in seven years without a cat or cats in the house so I need something to look forward to. Reading your blog really makes my day! Thanks, Debs X
