Now, reading that title, put your hand up if a little elf popped into your mind.
You know ... the cute little chap dressed in red and green, pointed shoes, pointed hat, little mini tool kit, looking a lot like Dudley Moore in Santa Claus the Movie.
See .... lots of hands up.
I see them from here.
WRONG!
It's not what comes into my mind at all. See, I have a little helper who 'helps' all the time, not just at Christmas. And no red and green (well apart from the green eyes), no pointed shoes and hat (though I confess I would love to try) and actually, not much help. Yup - you got it. the Fiki monster.
This was the scene as carrier bags of clothes and Christmas presents were put on the bed after a long shopping trip today!
You see, we recon everything in our house has to be done with one hand. Because the other hand is holding a Bengal cat out of the way. The simplest tasks are made difficult when you have a household with bengals. They have to be everywhere .... and I mean everywhere. You can't do anything alone. Even the bathroom isn't sacred becasue you simply aren't quick enough most of the time to shut the dorr before one of them is in there.
There was no prompt today as it is the weekend but i have kind of gotten into the habit of making a page with a picture for my blog post and as Fiki and the bags was my photo of the day today, the page just had to happen.
Now I would like to wish you all happy Digital Scrapbooking Day.
I have had such fun today.
I have made a couple of digital pages for design team work .... can't share that yet but it's exciting!
Then I did a bit of digi shopping as so many wonderful designers have specials today to celebrate (and it would be rude to not buy now wouldn't it!)
PLUS there are a lot of freebies around today too.
One of the nicest I have seen is this one by Shimelle - a real girlie word art brush set that I loved. It is free for download here
I hope you all have a wonderful Saturday - I love saturday evenings. Merlin and X Factor and Casualty and sitting all warm and cozy in front of the fire, Christmassy candle burning and a glass of sparkling water. OK - so the sparkling water ruined the illusion ... a glass of wine would have been so much nicer, but hey - I bought clothes today another size smaller and so I can stand to do without the wine. remember, nothing tastes as good as being thinner!

Can't see your LO for some reason Dolly?!? I love reading your stories about your gorgeous cats. I love Saturday nights too but I'm a naughty girl and have a glass of wine too!

He's a sweetie, but I do know what you mean about cats getting "everywhere"! We have a Sir in our house too. He expects to be let into every room where we are. His current favourite is our new shower room, where he paddles on the floor of the shower. Before that, he had to stand up to see over the edge of the bath. He still doesn't understand why we volunteer to go under the shower though...
Great blog and love the layout from earlier.
