Well, it has been a long old process. I think it was sometime in March that we first started planning and talking about the bedroom and bathroom and now - the refit is complete and we are shattered but thrilled.
Bedroom before the refit
and after
Bathroom from bedroom before refit
and after
Today has been a busy day as the lads finished off the bathroom and we changed knobs, sewed and hung curtains, sorted out all the electrics, ironed 4 new sets of bedding (that was tough I can tell you) cleaned the entire house to within an inch of its life and then dressed the rooms and put everything back where it should be.
The house looks fab but we are shattered. It doesn't feel like ours yet - more like some sort of posh hotel, but I am sure we will get used to it.
The cats are freaked out by it all - they haven't been in the bedroom and en suite for two weeks. You should have seen them when they went in LOL
We still have pictures to hang etc but we are sleeping in our own room again tonight and I am off to have a bath in my new huge ultra deep bath.
By the way - in the photos - the carpet is still pink. the cream carpet gets fitted on wednesday and it should look so much nicer.
Have a fab weekend everyone. I am leaving you with some hapy pictures xxxx

Well it certainly was worth the inconvenience, it’s gorgeous. I really love the colours you have chosen for the bedroom, and the curtains look great! Well done both of you.

Gorgeous colour schemes Karen. You should be SO proud to have completed such a great job in such a short time, well done. I'd still be faffing about with the paint charts! It's given me inspiration for the colours on my cards today, so thank you.
Now stop sitting about (lol) and get on with some papercrafting!
Enjoy the rest of the weekend,
Love Judy x
