Ringstead Bay

Karen_ringstead_2_red Had a lovely day so far today. And it's only half way through.

We were up at the crack of dawn - must have been the sunshine that woke us, because it has been glorious.

As Nigel was off as well I was determined not to waste another day sat at the computer for one reason or another so we headed out early.

We went to Ringstead Bay near Weymouth - a place we have driven by but never visited and it was lovely.

There were narrow roads to get there mind. I was sooooo glad it was not me driving.

It was quite chilly, though very warm in the sun, and the bay was almost empty of people and was just lovely.

We made ourselves a promise to take more pictures of each other and so did some of that too.

Our problem is that we have loads and loads of pictures of places and very few pictures of us. (even fewer of us together but that's another story)

We played dare for a while by the water (and I only got a little bit wet LOL) but it made for a fun half hour and some interesting pictures. I think I feel a page coming on.

Karen_hide_red I have downloaded the pictures but to be honest the last thing i can face is sending more to Photobox. I played that game yesterday. If I want some I will be printing them myself.

We also stopped at a garden centre for ideas for the patio we want to redo. we did thinkw e would maybe have someone to redo it for us, till we heard the prices. Um .... I can see a long glorious summer of humping paving slabs and filling  looming ahead.

They had a lovely gift area at the garden centre (why do things seem so irresistable in these places! I wanta  minimalist home and I am so never going to get one. I did see a Willow Tree figurine I fell in love with for Sam. It was the expectant mother and sam is definitely that. The baby is due next month so it seemed a neat gift to get her and post off today.

Anita sent me this link in an e mail todaya nd was a cool thing to play with. When you click ont he link (which I have tried and is safe) you get a black screen which you then click on and watch what happens. You can also just hold the mouse down. Pretty and mindlessly girly fun!
